Description

The early and mid 80's saw an incredible competitive 12th racing scene, pushing the designs forward and searching for the elusive light weight and better handling chassis with the lower grip tracks/tyres and limited battery capacities - every fraction counted!

Craig Bowring was a top Aussie racer and moved to California to work for Mike Reedy and AE, soon after he moved to the now lesser known brand of Lucas Garneau who created conversion parts and ultimately the full Agitator 12th car kit.

This was released as the: AGITATOR 1/12th SCALE ON-ROAD RACE CAR and had a cult like following both in the USA and internationally!

Now from GP3D in collaboration with Craig and Lucas, you can own your piece of this RC history and bring the nostalgic memories flowing back... 

Details

• Carbon Fibre; Chassis, Pod Front Suspension Plate
• Black FRP replica plates including for tweak and innovative actuator
• CNC machine alloy parts including the Pod bulkheads, stand-offs, pivots, king pins
• Bearings (5x for diff/axle, 4x for front wheels)
• Plastics all 3D printed from the incredible Prusa PCBlend material.
• Parts have been faithfully custom designed as accurately replicated as possible from an original kit from Craig's collection :-)
• Includes all required standard hardware in 8-32, 4-40 and 2-56 sizes
• Comes with a "DISPLAY ONLY" diff/rear axle. Include hubs for both OG 2/4 hole style and adapter versions to mount modern wheels. However; Please install your favoured 12th axle/diff assembly for driving/racing. 
• Servo must be secured with double sided tape, glue or make your own holes/servo mounts as desired. The originals were usually run with glued in servos! If you don't want to drill holes for servo posts, I recommend a thin TESA 4965 205µm double sided tape.

• Driveable/raceable diff/axle assembly
• Wheels/Tyres
• Pinion
• Tools (hex drivers 0.05", 1/16", 3/32", 2mm. Socket wrench 1/4", 11/32")
• Greases/lubricates etc. Thick grease recommended for front kingpins, rear actuator pins and friction shock.

Other Notes:

• This car is designed and constructed to be driven just like the original! (except for replacing the display axle/diff with yours).
• The battery position/slots is not intended for, and would not readily accept, a LIPO battery, they are as per the original that utilised Sub-C NiCad batteries (or NiMH would also be suitable).
