These are the print files for our 12th Scale Pan Car - Rear Post - Body Supports

These are optional items for a 12th scale, especially beneficial when using the lighter/flimsier bodies that have become more common place. 

Includes individual .stl files for the body supports for both 5mm or 6mm post sizing, you choose to match your car's posts, and the PrusaSlicer .3mf file with our suggested print orientation and settings.

The Printed part is designed to utilise a standard 2mm roll-pin press-fit through the holes aligned with your desired post hole position. The hole through the end pad is sized for M3 thread and accepts an M3 bolt or set screw to fine tune the pressure/high with the body. You can choose to add the M3 or not, or use a stick on pad if preferred. Once installed I rotate the post to move the support pad outwards slightly, approx ~20 or ~30 degrees from straight back works nicely (depending on your body angle/shape etc).

Notes:

• The zip file contains the .stl files and .3mf slicer file.
• The 3mf file is created in Prusa Slicer and hence best viewed/used in that slicer. You can open them in other slicers but please note some settings may not be persisted correctly.
