Printed Parts - Preparation Notes

Firstly; thank you for support GP3D! :-)

The 3D printed parts included in your purchase are printed with Prusa PCBlend filament.

This material/manufacturing method is fantastic for custom, unique, short run and specialised RC car parts. However please note they can require a little extra TLC to prepare them before and during installation, so you get to apply some basic modelling skills alongside your RC car hobby! ;-)

Please take note of and apply these tips/instructions to help you get the best results:

Some parts retain the print supports that must be removed. You can do this with small needle-nose pliers to crush and break away the support material (which can then be discarded).
Use a scalpel to carefully trim away any excess print material and clean up rough spots as desired.
Sand paper 240 grit is recommended (or as you desire) which works fantastically well to clean up and smooth the edges/surfaces of the parts. It's totally up to you how obsessive you go with the sanding - warning: it can be addictive! haha
Hinge Pin holes in suspension parts are deliberately designed/printed undersized with the intention that they need to be drilled/reamed out to the required size. E.g. all the RC10 replica parts use 1/8th hinge pins, but be sure to check your parts and size the holes you make accordingly.
Ensure all your suspension parts move/fall freely (i.e. with the shocks removed) once installed with the hinge pins and all related parts into your car.
